"Should we match them?" is the eternal twin question. The answer: sometimes, but with intention.

The coordinated-not-matching approach

Same colour palette, different silhouettes. A teal frock + teal-and-white striped tee. A panjabi in mint + a kurta-pyjama in mint with embroidery. They look like they belong together, but each twin gets their own personality.

When matching does work

• First birthday — there's only one

When to stop matching

Around age 4–5, twins start expressing strong opinions. Listen to them. Identity formation is more important than your Instagram feed.
